Not for nothing do they call him the perfectionist. To put it in perspective, there are the brawny and no brainers of Salman. There are the idyllically set hypothetical and aribitrary rom-coms of SRK. And there is the intelligent nay highbrow cinema with every nuance taken care of spearheaded by Aamir Khan. Talaash although not of the standard of a 3 Idiots, is outrightly one of the most intriguing,interesting,stupendous films of the modern times. Extremely captivating narrative, edge of the seat sequences and well written characters catapult it into top 3 movies of 2012. It encompasses all genres in its plot and all in apt measure. That it keeps you on the tenterhooks until the last 5 mins speaks volumes of the excellence of the writers, directors and producers. Kareena Kapoor, the actress proves yet again the supremacy of her craft among her glam doll contemporaries, Rani Mukerji remains a performer par excellence, Nawazuddin Siddiqui grows from strength to strength. Talaash is as good a thriller as they can make. When you watch the complete film, you realise why its publicity was kept low key. The film shines like a bright sun, requiring no effort to experience its warmth. Its automatic and effortless magnificence leaves one longing for more. One of the few film makers to emotionally move his audience in every film of his, Aamir stamps his authority over the numero uno position in so far as the art of substantive film production is concerned.
