  2. All right as I stated 1ce when I was chatting with this guy Mr. Parmesh, I told him that his Newsletter idea is surely gonna be a big hit (only if he remembers that day we chatted about it) & so this day finally arrived when the first newsletter has popped out from his PC & been circulated to as many LS guys n gals as it could be & slowly but steadily actually becoming the sensation for sure. When I came to know the newsletter is finally out, I immediately logged in & downloaded the newsletter. I knew its going to be a fun read, so I just set back makin myself as much comfortable as I could, for a moment I just forgot all those practical tensions going in my mind, because I knew it will spoil my 1 of the most awaited read. The first thing that was-A word from editor was itself a juvenile start to the newsletter, I really appreciated the fact how gently n beautifully Parmesh united the life sciences n bio. Sciences by using some very funny reasons but still each reason fitted very well. Adding to the fun are those pics of mostly food brands whether Cadbury chocolates or Sunfeast making the newsletter look more delectable ….lolz.
So the first article-powerpuff gals are there in our class gives a kick start to the newsletter with Miss Arpita giving a very quirky description of the 3 boys of the front row(me 1 of them of course) which she like to refer as powerpuff gals. The description was really funny, Arpita adding to the fun named other characters also as Mojo jojo & Professor Eutonium. The various Gangs of the class been described very well.
Then comes our very own Jagpreet Singh’s “Love Guru Instinct”, told very well indeed. It made me wonder “is that really-Jagpreet singh Arora???” lolz. I will have to admit the newsletter surely did a lot to reveal the other side of our very own Mr. Jagpreet representing a very new n lovely Persona of him.
Adding to the fun read was Miss Vanita’s interview (quoted to be taken on phone…wow!!).The interview surely was filled with loads of funny moments, with Vanita letting lose her hatred for Prasad sir & Bhoon too. Harry Potter as her evergreen crush was really fun to know & how she described that she wonders sometimes when people are amazed to see her on a social networking sites like facebook….lolzz, the interview surely revealed her fun loving persona beside her very good brains. I’ll have to admit the interview was really well taken, just like some professionals at work….hats of Peeru bhai.
The most surprising fact unleashed was that of Khushboo, Parmesh surely did a commendable job in describing the reason of Khushboo’s absence in the class. I always thought she doesn’t like to attend classes but the description surely tilted my beliefs up side down for good. I think hardly anybody in the class would know about the ordeals she has faced. Here too Parmesh scores once again with his way of describing a person’s ordeal & along with giving a nice suggestion to the readers.
The 1st newsletter is surely a blockbuster for me & after reading this I was wondering if more of them are really going to come or not?? with mr. Parmesh showing disinterest for the college. I just cross my fingers & pray that I would be able to read a whole lot more from this wordsmith, there are still many secrets & discoveries hidden in our class which once revealed could help drawing all of the classmates to come closer to each other & making this batch of life sciences preserved as the most beautiful memory for all of us.

  5. The newsletter "The LS Times" is fun to read and nicely put together...The day Parmesh told me abt it, i was interested!!! and it didnt disappoint me for sure...The newsletter is rather insightful and reveals a lot abt d alter-ego of our dear classmates(Jagpreet and Vanita) lol...A word frm editor makes it very clear that no matter where v belong(life sc. or bio.sc., dat is) v r d same-v r one!!! "powerpuff gals in our class" is a funny article which draws superb comparison b/w the cartoon characters and the real characters...while the article abt khushboo's ailment and her consequential absence frm college, enlightens us abt d hazards of junk food n wrong eating habits-lesson to be learned frm this one!!! The newsletter brings out some very interesting facts n is quite informative...I eagerly await the next edition and wish to be a part of this venture!!!
A great initiative, two thumbs up to "The LS Times"!!!

  15. Feedback of the unofficial newsletter (THE LS TIMES)

The newsletter was the most awaiting thing I was looking forward during the past 1 week or 2, may be because of the curiosity of what was written in it & also because it included an article being written by Parmesh on me.

The newsletter started with a word from our “honorable editor” Mr. Parmesh, which gave the newsletter a marvelous, start and laid the foundation of a brilliant newsletter. It very beautifully united the students of life n bioscience n the use of famous quote “DO JISM EK JAAN” completely justified it. As Parmesh said that the newsletter is very close to his heart I would like to say him that it has found an another heart.
An appreciable thing of the newsletter is that he already clarified that the newsletter did not aim to hurt any one. I don’t know whether u remember or not but once u told me that how popular was the newsletter in your school but would say that it will become popular in our class too owing to your creditable dedication n efforts.

    Now to the newsletter

    Powerpuff Girls

The first article of the newsletter told the students about the existence of powerpuff girls in our own class. It is a good written article with many positives like imagining some of the students as the various characters of the famous cartoon program n that too by explaining some of the reasons for giving the “honorary” characters to the students with Rohit as Buttercup being the best (still not able to know y I was called mojo).
The article also put some light towards the presence of various “gangs” present in our class n also told about the unique feature of the gangs.
A good article mixed with a funny description of the students of our class.
I would like to congratulate Parmesh for hitting a boundary on the first ball but in my opinion, there was a chance to hit a six (I know tu bura nhi manega but some points that I think may had lead to a better article)
It was a wonderful experience to know about the presence of so many gangs in our class but if u could have mentioned the names of the students

in those gangs it would have been better as it might gave the chance to many students who still don’t know the names of many of their classmates to gasp the names before heading for the exams (n believe me due to tension nam fir bhul jate). As arpita did not tell y she allotted some of the characters so it should have been a complete investigation article.
But on a whole, it was good article with all of 5 of our “gang” being referred as Veritable PP gals impressed me a lot.
N for the first time I m going to give a rating to Mr. Parmesh for his excellent work for this article – 3.5/5
Sorry yar but have no intentions to take ur job of rating anything.

    LOVE GURU

So like the first article, Parmesh carried on the good work to the second article also but the title of the article was enough to give me a small shock (me referred as a LOVE GURU). While reading it I was completely shocked as it was hard to believe ki this was me who answered these sorts of questions n I m truly grateful to the newsletter for providing me this kind of opportunity. It truly revealed another side of me with the use of good vocabulary with the use of word “inamorata” clearly impressing me.
I think it was a very well written material with the use of good words as I said earlier n presenting a very dull boy named as “JAGPREET SINGH ARORA” in a completely different manner. The best part of the article was the advice I gave to the other lovers to help them and the points they need to keep in mind for a better love life (LOLLLLLLLLZZZZZZ)

A good work by the editor with almost everything (m not saying this coz the article is on me but it was really a nice one). The only thing I see as not that good was the title which along with me may have given some jitters to most of the students of our class.

    Article rating-4./5

    VANITA UNPLUGGED

Adding to the already good work done Parmesh produced another gem from his vast collections with a good interview of the HARYANA HURRICANE Ms. Vanita, the most padaku student of our class.

A good article, which showed its worth right from the start and gave us some of most shocking facts being associated with vanita, her liking, her love life (Harry Potter being her only lover until now) n was shocked to read her saying the very famous line “u don’t find love u just fall in love it just happens" n 1 day I might fall in love. The best part of the article is to b her reaction towards the 2 most fearing teachers, Mr. Bhoon n Mr. Prasad n her saying that she might considered bunking the classes if Bhoon sir were teaching her, which I think would not b digested by many of the readers (vanita n bunking lyk north n south pole never meeting).

It is a good article (sare hi ache hain) n it was good to see some social issues being answered like ragging n homosexuality n also it told about the life, likes n dislikes of Vanita (a social issue-Vanita joining facebook a social networking site),her aim in life , her role model etc. The use of a good font for Bhoon sir was funny in the newsletter. The negative points are hard to find except that there are many questions related to Mr. Bhoon, which ultimately increased vanita’s temperature (loolllllzz).
Also 1 thing I was unable to found was that there was no questions related to vanita’s classmates n how she found her new class full with unknown students but overall a great article.

    Rating- 4./5

    The Curious Case of Khushboo

The last article of the newsletter also made its presence felt. An impressive article disclosing about the illness faced by Khushboo, which was the main reason for her being so much irregular in class. The newsletter presented it in a very good way n I think also gave a chance for many of the students who must not be knowing about the condition of khushboo, to ask for her health. This time also the use of good words and phrases stole the show with “Adding nail to the coffin of her misery” taking the honors.
The message given at the end was also good.
A good article n the negative thing I found was the use of very high words, which must have forced many students to take the help of a dictionary. It was the only thing I was able to point out in the given article.
    Above all a good article.

    Rating --4/5

So that was the feedback of all the articles in the newsletter but I m still not stopped. The use of various font sizes add to the beauty of the article n the various pictures of almost everything being included in the newsletter presents it in a very good way (who kehte hain na char- chand laga diye)

    Newsletter rating- 4.5/5
The 0.5 deducted is only to encourage u to write a much better newsletter in the future. Hoping to see 1 more soon

Pl do tell me how was my feedback n point as many errors u can find

  18. First of all I wanna know who this AKANSHA in our class…is???
Jo bhi h…. jst wanna say kuchh toh humare liye bh chhod dete …… sab kuchh to likh diya….. lolz

Anewayz Parmesh tere liye to jo bh kaha jaye kum h….………..
    But still I wanna say dat u….. r ……..GENIUSS………….
Even dis word is negligible for describing u……. I think ur dictionary must have better word than dis.
i know I didn’t follow ur request of nt praising u… but I think its incomplete without it…..
Its d best creativity I have ever seen … … d best medium to know about our classmates & d latest happening in our class coz its almost impossible to interact every1 in d class with such a huge population. And d best thing which every1 comes to know is about your intelligence……. u have a bright future in journalism for sure....
Coming to my experience of reading d newsletter d first word comes in ma mind after reading was just WOW……… my excitement of reading dat made me read it once again ….
    Nd u were right when I start reading d first thing that strike in ma mind was …. Oye why only LS…..? but after I read d description i was smiling n nodding …… Nd I hope nt only in first year when v r 2gethr coz our class is same…. Both remains 2gethr in d upcoming years too …. Though classes r nt d same ……Nt lyk our seniors…{sorry..}
Although all the article was gr8 in its place but d most fun reading was “love guru jagpreet”….lolz.. it makes me laugh alt while reading (sorry jaggy). Vanita’s interview was also gud .. this newsletter reveals many thoughts of our very own friends jaggy n vanita…. … n d best thing u wrote in the newsletter was about “khushboo’s ailment ”..although I know abt her but nt in such a detail. And even I know about the “presence of power puff girls in our class” from d very first day but u expressed it in very nice way.
“HATS OFF TO U “ parmesh… nd hope to see the next edition soon after d exams.

  20. waise next time u write a feedback refrain from doing so much tareef. man itni tareef to kisi ne mere liye sochi bhi nai hogi. thanx again. but everybody will b evaluated on d comments they have put forward on d newsletter not me. so thats y i was sayin to write more abt d newsletter n less abt me.

    ReplyDelete
  21. i jus wonder y????feedback is dedicated totally to the response of the readers.....wat they think about the newsletter & if they want to compliment the way its written & morover impressed by the author & complimenting him in the way he really deserves then actually the author should take it as a feedback only,y? oh y? again n again Parmesh u dun lyk yrself complimented for such a grrrt job....u can't deny the fact that its a part of the feedback only.....can u?
